Hasbro unveils extremely well-detailed collectibles, the Star Wars: The Black Series
by Gavril MankooToys aren’t just meant for kids and Hasbro understands the same. The company has begun targeting older toy-lovers with its new line of toys, Star Wars: The Black Series. The line consists of collectibles measuring in at 6 inches, finely crafted and extremely well-detailed, making these more than just toys. We consider them the best figures that Hasbro’s ever produced for Star Wars that meets (sic) the sensibilities of romancing the character as well as the playability and poseability that fans really appreciate,” says Derryl DePriest, the vice-president of Hasbro, gushing over the Black Series.
To begin with, Hasbro will first release four figurines including Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, Darth Maul and the Sand Trooper. Each of these will be priced at $20 a pop. Up ahead, Hasbro will unveil more characters from the original trilogy and the prequels.
