Google to introduce password-generator for Chrome to up security standards
by Gavril MankooSetting a strong impenetrable password is an art not many can master. Most of us settle for vague passwords with names of our spouses, lovers or something equally easy to hack into. Now, Google plans to lend a hand in setting brawny passwords that could make just about any hacker stoop. Up ahead, Google plans to unveil a new feature for the Chrome browser that will help users set passwords. The feature will work on sites that require users to register, and will generate and suggest passwords with letters, numbers and characters. Modifications can be made as per the user’s preferences before the password’s set. Also, once accepted, Chrome will automatically sync it with other devices running the browser for the user.
