Google Maps 6.5 released to celebrate 50 billion kilometers milestone

Google has crossed yet another milestone, this time at 50 billion kilometers. The search engine giant’s Google Maps application for Android has provided 50 billion kilometers of turn-by-turn navigation to its users in all and to mark the occasion, Google has unveiled an updated look for the application. The Google Maps 6.5 for Android now comes with a swank new user interface with the navigation component redesigned and tweaked for Android 4.0 and above devices. With an easier-to-use interface, the new Google Maps application’s maps are more detailed than ever with better support for devices with top-notch screens. Available off the Google Play Store, the new Google Maps application is a better way to find your way around unknown streets.
