Google lays off 100
by shilpa
The recession has created such hell for big businesses and companies that you forget to look at the more obvious and tangible ones. Google has announced laying off 100 people from its HR department. The company says it hopes those who lost their jobs will get a chance somewhere in Google itself. How can that happen? Who will hire them? And nonetheless, the move only proves to say that the company is satisfied with what they have for the moment and the rest, those responsible to bring onboard more human expenses, may as well pack and be gone.
It’s ironic though. You work to hire people and you lose your job. Google could have been a little more classified and taken people from different departments rather than leave a whole bunch off from just one.
