Gateway releases 8510GZ 17-inch notebook for retail

Gateway’s first ever notebook to be offered with a 17-inch screen in retail stores is the model 8510GZ. The device come sin one standard configuration that includes an ATI X700 graphics chip with 64 MByte of memory, 512 MByte DDR2 memory, a 100 GByte harddrive as well as Wi-Fi capability and a DVD burner. Priced at $1450, the notebook comes with a Pentium M 740 (1.73 GHz) processor.
