Fujitsu’s Power Strip monitor’s your power usage

by Gareth Mankoo

If you’ve been wondering how much power is being hogged by your computer, then you need to look no further. It measures the electric energy in each of the four sockets and helps users gauge how much they energy they are actually hogging up. It also has a scheduler for those who do not wish excess power to be hogged up in their absence. Each of the outlet has a gauge that can measure consumption up to 2000W.

A transmitter in a USB port on the side of the strip helps send the monitored results across. This is surely something that comes in more as a ‘green’ product.
