Fuji Robot runs on Linux
Fuji Software is out with a 2 foot long robot which will be soon aiding colleges and technical institutes in Japan. Running on Linux the robot is powered by Intel Atom processor at 1.66GHz. It has 20 axis which give it a high level of freedom. Furthermore the robot can also support face recognition, voice recognition, Wi-Fi and can even be programmed to check the weather, news and e-mail. Pricing and release information are not available yet.
