Forget the BlackBerry 10 for another year

The BlackBerry PlayBook seemed to be a mild and feeble attempt by RIM to claim what they lost to Apple and Samsung. All this boiled down to a rather lukewarm reception of the tablet. Now, we’re in need for some real action and almost had our first taste of it when we heard about the smartphone version of the PlayBook, the BlackBerry 10. However, thanks to some annoying problems with the chipsets not being available on time, the BlackBerry 10 will not be joining its fellow RIM comrades in battle for a while.

One report stated that the BlackBerry 10 will be available only by the end of 2012. Now that’s some seriously long gap to wait for.
