Evolution will revolutionize the aviation industry
by yogesh
If you want something sturdier than the Japanese personal helicopter, then take a look at this Russian beauty. Showing off his unique craft at the recent MAKS-2007 air show in Russia, Russian designer and inventor Alexander Begak caused quite a stir with his “Evolution”. This slight craft is capable of traveling on land, water and air. Made of ultra-light coal-plastic and Kevlar fibers with a sturdy hull made of ultra-strong materials, the super-light aircraft weight only 60 kgs. Begak, who is also a trained pilot and parachute jumper, has developed 15 successful aircraft projects before this plus the Evolution has already undergone over a 100 test with specialists from Roskosmos participating in the research as well. A good thing is that this ultra-light aircraft can come in handy for non-civil purposes too. Evolution can serve as reconnaissance aircraft invisible to radars due to its plastic equipment. It can patrol frontiers, conduct day and night photography, mapping and monitoring. In case of a mid-air emergency, the parachute system of the craft tones the gliding to the ground and during water landing an inflatable emergency device prevents the craft from drowning.
Alexander Begak describes the Evolution as “this is a universal kind of transportation. It can fly at the height of 4,000 meters above the ground and cover the distance of upto 400 kilometers without additional refueling. Its 30 horsepower motor can reach speeds of 160 km/h in the air and 80 km/h on land. An on-board computer controls pilot’s actions.”
is a more practical and comfortable alternative, the GEN H-4 from Gene corporation – Japan is your personal helicopter.
