Energizer’s Energi to Go external iPod battery
by Dhiram ShahAnother iPod accessory coming to town is Energizer’s Energi to Go external iPod battery. We all know that after about two years the iPod’s batteries won’t take a charge anymore and people generally dunk the old and go in for a new iPod or they send their pieces to Apple’s factory to get it replaced (dunno if you’ll get your own back). Energi to Go external iPod battery has been made to run off two of Energizer’s AA Lithium e2 batteries and can add as many as 46 hours of playing time between charges for iPods. Therefore people whose iPod’s internal batteries have stopped working can extend its life for years. Even though iPhone uses the same external power plug as the iPod, Energizer cant say for sure whether the batteries can be used on the iPhone.
The iPod battery is set to launch in October for $29.99.
