Dryer Vent Alarm keeps some major catastrophes at bay

If you choose to defend your home from things such as freak accidents, then there’re no means by which you can ever be fully satisfied. That’s when you go in for something as awesome as the Dryer Vent Alarm. A collection of lint is pretty much a hazard waiting to happen if it isn’t cleared off soon. And I’m talking about fire here! Purely a work inspired by statistics it seems, as the Consumer Products Safety Commission claims that about 15,000 clothes dryers suffer fire issues. The device detects increased air pressure in vents and alerts absent-minded folk about collected lint.

On detecting a possible threat, an alarm of 90dB will be sounded till the ‘reset’ button is pressed. The Dryer Vent Alarm will cost you $60.
