Drones replace surveillance systems at Secom Security Services

by Gareth Mankoo

While human surveillance is nearly extinct and the movies have taught us many ways around automated home security systems, drones are something yet to be messed with. This explains why they are the ideal security options for your home or business or bat cave. The Secom Drone is among the first examples of this modern security system. It hovers around the premises and does well to capture snapshots of suspicious cars and people. Unlike fixed cameras, the drone has leverage of mobility where it can close in for a clearer shot.

This reminds us a lot about the childhood cartoons that had the big bad guys with surveillance bots all around the big-bad-guy facility. The drone will retail for about 800,000 Japanese Yen or $6,600.
