When you have a facility of one of the world’s leading technology brand and $5 billion to spend on it, you can expect development at a gigantic scale. A DJI Inspire 1 drone has revealed what Apple mean to create with their amazing Campus 2 project that spans an unassailable 2.8 million square feet of area. As if that’s not all, the Cupertino-based company has ensured that it generates 100% of its power from renewable energy. In an effort to make the entire facility eco-friendly the company has announced that 700,000 square feet of rooftops will double up as solar panels. Over 13,000 employees will work inside the four-story complex that has a circumference of almost a mile. The structure has been designed by Fosters + Partners and could be deemed as one of the world’s largest office buildings.
