DIY toilet-paper dispenser prints Tweets and live RSS feeds

by Gavril Mankoo

If you’ve been looking for a great way to keep up with those Tweets while you answer natures call, without having to carry your smartphone or tablet to the loo, here’s a perfect way to do so, that well, keeps your backside clean too! Built by Mario Lukas, this one’s essentially a toilet-paper dispenser, this one prints out Tweets or RSS feeds on the paper which you end up using on your backside. With complete network connectivity, the printer was made from scavenged parts from old CD drives and an Arduino controller. Now we aren’t sure about the ink used in this one, though we’re pretty sure it wouldn’t leave a lasting impression of a Tweet on your bottom.
