Instead of now stacking up a lot of CDs and messing your room, you can maybe consider buying the Thanko USB Turntable. It is OS X and Windows compatible and offers USB 2.0 and 1.1 support. It also works with 33 and 45 records and requires no drivers. All you need to do is plug it in, connect via USB and use your music recording application to play your records. It is priced at about $164.
