Dell intros XPS M1530 notebook
by yogesh
Dell has introduced a new notebook in its XPS lineup; the XPS M1530 is aimed at capturing the 15″-sleek, slim notebook market that includes the likes of the MacBook Pro. This baby is only 0.9″ deep at its thinnest point and uses a slot-load optical drive instead of the tray loading option. Even the bottom-rung model features a minimum 128MB GeForce 8400M GS graphics chip providing dedicated 3D acceleration, a 2-MP webcam and fingerprint reader. The base system also features a 1.5GHz Core 2 Duo, 1GB of memory, 120Gb hard disk and a DVD burner. You can customize the notebook to include 2.6GHz Core 2 Duo, 4GB of memory, 250GB of storage, Blu-ray burner, and a faster 256MB GeForce 8600M GT graphics. You can pick from black, red or white colors.
Dell’s XPS M1530 notebook starts at $999, if you order today they will ship it to you by mid-December.
