Creating a bootable OS X Lion Disk is a click away with Lion DiskMaster
by Gareth MankooA bootable OS X Lion Disk has its share of advantages but there isn’t one that’s as good as replication made easy. It’s critical at times when you need to have a backup ready for crash treatments. Lion DiskMaster is ‘is a small application programmed with AppleScript, supporting Mac OS X 10.6 or 10.7 to burn a DVD or build a bootable USB key from Mac OS X Lion’s Installation program.’ Launching the application disk will initially run a check for OS X Lion and once found, it will create a DVD and a USB bootable install disk.
Of course, later on, to have a physical DVD you would require a 4.7GB standard DVD that’s writable. The app is available for free from the company’s website.
