Cowon Q5W makes its presence felt

Cowon Q5W is making its presence felt here in the US with Cowon America officially divulging the details. Cowon Q5W (formerly the Cowon Q5), will be identical to the specs on the version released in Asia, with the W denoting wireless capabilities. The device boasts of a 5″ TFT touchscreen with an 800×480 resolution and a 500:1 contrast ratio, along with 802.11g/b Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, a Windows CE 5.0 operating system, and more file format support of DivX, XviD, MPEG4, WMV7/8/9, MP3, WMA, Ogg Vorbis, Wave, FLAC, APE, and MusePack. Cowon Q5W, is direct-from-camera importing of NEF (Nikon RAW) images plus JPEG images thus facilitating offloading digital photos on the go. The device also includes component, composite, and S-Video outputs for hooking the device up to a TV.

The Cowon Q5W will be out here by the end of this month, it will sell for $549.99 for the 40GB and $599.00 for the 60GB.
