Corsair’s Padlock 2 Flash drive with high encryption

by Gareth Mankoo

You can totally get that CIA document equivalent file accross the shelf without worrying about anyone accessing it. It doesn’t matter if it contains your childhood pictures (naked in a bathtub) or a love letter you’re trying to hide. This cool flash drive from Corsair, called the Padlock 2 will make sure that no one accesses it, thanks to the software and hardware encryption. Along with a physical PIN pad on the outside it also comes with a 256-bit AES data encryption technology. Of course, there’s 8GB of data that you can keep safe within this drive.

There’s no word on the pricing or the availability of this drive. But it’s pretty sure to be a pick of choice for many paranoids.
