China to play home to 200 Angry Birds merchandise stores over next three years

Angry Birds fans around China behold! We bring you good tidings! Good enough to make you drop your iPhone and run around happily in circles. Well, maybe we’re exaggerating, but we’re pretty sure Rovio’s 200 new Angry Bird stores all that have been planned to open up in China will leave you smiling. 200 stores will be put up with Rovio Mobile in partnership with a Chinese gaming portal, and will have some pretty sweet merchandise on sale. The bestselling game has got itself quite a cult following lately and is currently Apple App Store’s second highest-selling application. Rovio has till date sold a whopping 3 million Angry Birds stuffed toys and phone cases while downloads have topped 200 million. The stores destined for China will also stock T-Shirts, cushions and a lot more.
