by Gareth Mankoo

Phones going this has never failed to impress the world. With the new wave of touch-centric phones dominating mankind, there’s very little for users of old technologies to look forward to. The impetus is clear on an effort to slim down our touch-sensitive hotties and its good news right from the start. Behind all the good stuff is Amtel and the prime roll they’re playing is to slim down their future offerings in the 3.5- to 10+ -inch segments. Called maXTouch S, the technology will grace tablets, phones and the likes in the future.

The new technology is being explored and unveiled at CES 2012. Devices running Android 4.0 and Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 platforms will benefit from it.
