CES: Long awaited Polaroid iM1836 Android Camera displayed
by Gareth MankooWe’ve been raving about how the classic Polaroid camera can still stand strong in the line of the fine shooters of the day and feeding on the many rumors that were flung our way. But no more! It’s time for a feast as the awesome Polaroid iM1836 Android Camera with an interchangeable lens has been shown off at CES in Las Vegas. Being a smart camera, the company doesn’t hold back in declaring its prowess to capture “outstanding, professional quality images and instantly share them with friends.” The camera arrives with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 18-megapixel sensor, optical zoom (10-30mm lens), a 3.5-inch touchscreen display and its ability to offer all camera controls, on screen.
The Polaroid iM1836 will be available for $399 in this very quarter. Let’s see how it fares against Samsung’s offering. We’re eager to learn more about its processing capabilities and memory. But that information shall soon follow.
