CES: i-KAIST show off world’s first 65-inch capacitive touch screen
by Gareth Mankooi-KAIST would be an unlikely pick to show off a capacitive touchscreen that joined the several other ‘world’s biggest’ applicants at CES this year. President Kim Sung-Jin showed off the company’s first 65-inch capacitive touch screen, that is also touted as the world’s biggest yet. It offers amazing response speed of 1ms and a minimum of 7ms. The wiring for the same is said to be complicated but that wouldn’t keep improvements at bay as it prepares to enter the all-in-one market.
The company also plans to launch BIZBOX, which will serve as a smart conference software program. There’s a hint of NFC too, lurking in the promise of shaking and sharing device data.
