Cell phones and its impact on the environment

In an effort to the stir up the mobile community to go green and take the eco-friendly campaign to the smartphone users, a company called iamgreen has launched a new app. Their promoting the same on their website in the most graphic way possible throwing in stats and numbers that could shock you. The application is designed to help you save on your battery life, thereby making sure you don’t have to charge you handset as often as you usually do. The app is designed with support for all the major Smartphone operating systems and is free for the iPhone. It’s also available for other OS’ at different rates depending on the handset.
