CB2 baby humanoid robot – Videos

Developed by Osaka University’s Graduate School of Engineering the CB2 is designed to function like a 1-2 year old child. CB2 stands 130 cms tall and weighs 33 kgs it has 56 air cylinders which serve as muscles. It has 197 sensors embedded underneath its silicon skin and has cameras for eyes and microphones for ears. It responds to touch like an infant for eg when touched on the shoulder it blinks and looks with surprise at the person. CB2 has artificial vocal cords for baby talk. Developers are working on software for CB2 giving it the ability to learn, so it can walk and talk in the future.
