At CES this year Casio is out to wow us with its EX-S10, 10-megapixel camera that boasts of being the slimmest one so far. It measures merely 94.2 mm wide, 54.6 mm high and 15.0 mm thin (13.8 mm at the thinnest part); this latest ‘Wearable Card Camera’ sports a 3x optical zoom and features a variety of scene modes including YouTube Capture Mode, using H.264 encoding for high quality movies with small file sizes. It has a 2.7″, 230k screen and a shutter release control ensures camera shake has subsided before taking a picture. It even features smile detection and have the shutter trip based on the quality of your subject’s grin plus has a Movie Button. Using motion blur detection technology, the camera can automatically take a photo at the instant when hand shake or subject movement ceases. The camera uses the H.264 video standard, which utilizes the AAC audio codec, thus making it iPod compatible.
Casio EX-S10 will be available in Red, Blue, Silver and Black when it hits US shores in February priced at $249.99.
