Bluedot pushes ahead an ultra-portable DVD player
by Gareth MankooIt doesn’t have to be yesterday when you set off in search of a portable disk player. They still make these, and make them good, at Bluedot. The BDP-1716W features a small swivel screen that houses a 7-inch display. Additionally, it provides support for MP3, JPEG, CD and DVD format videos among others. It can read data from disks or UDB drives. The screen may not give you the ultimate viewing pleasure with its 480×234 resolution but then you can’t ask for everything, and then beg for portable.
For some reason, it’s only Bluedot that does the magic and well, the rage of these devices, if any, can be traced to Japan (of all places on earth).DVDs still own some.
