Bjork unveils the world’s first ever app-album ‘Biophilia’
The musician Bjork has unveiled the first ever app-album called Biophilia for Apple gadgets. It is a collection of games, visualizations and musical scores that accompany her songs. Besides this, there is also the traditional audio-only download too. She wanted her fans to interact with her songs in an entirely new way and these visualizations will make each of her song become a visual-and-audio experience in itself. The app is free for download on iTunes but each sub-application which consists of a song and some sort of interactive game, costs 99-cents, or $9.99 for the whole album. The singer conceded that the phenomenon of touchscreen becoming pandemic drove her to come up with this idea of app-album.
