Belkin ‘WeMo Baby’ Baby Monitor leverages Wi-Fi, iDevices

by Gareth Mankoo

It’s true that someone as meticulous as a parent wanting to have their baby constantly monitored, would settle for a Baby Monitor, an iPhone or iPad or even some other alarm system. Now you need to make a note that I meant meticulous and not paranoid. To make life simpler for such, the Belkin WeMo Baby Monitor does just enough. It uses Wi-Fi to get your home connected wirelessly and transmits updates to your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

It costs $90. The accompanying application is free but you can upgrade it to Evoz service for advanced notifications and analysis of your tot’s sleep patterns.
