Austrian extreme sport athlete to jump off 120,000 to set skydiving record

by Gavril Mankoo

Not everyone has a fascination for jumping of tall things. For those who do, they’re bound to envy Austrian extreme athlete Felix Baumgartner who is now busy making preparations to jump yet again, this time from a height of a whopping 120,000 feet. As part of the Red Bull Stratos initiative that suffered a recent setback due to a lawsuit, Felix will jump off the seriously high height to set the record for the worlds highest skydive. The current record remains at 103,000 feet, set way back in 1960. Also, numerous lives have been lost in this attempt to jump off a height as such, and this incredible feat that Baumgartner will soon perform requires all the goodwill and prayers one can fling at him.
