Audio-Technica’s USB Turntable converts to MP3s!

Yes, it’s finally here. All the so-called vinyl collections stored in the attic can now be converted into some pretty helpful, ripped audio formats, thanks to the Audio-Technica USB Turntable. It comes along with a phono cartridge, a USB cable and supporting software. It is compatible with Windows and Mac OS X. It can be used with home audio systems. Users can operate playback with speeds of 33.33 and 45 RPM.

The turntable will ship in January. It will cost $229. You can pick it up for $149 if you do not opt for the USB port or the software package.
