Asus Xonar U3 external sound card connects with USB, pumps up Surround Sound
by Gareth Mankoo
Sound cards aren’t going to be ignored, no matter how much people concentrate on enhancing their visual experiences, instead. 3D is getting old now and we want something that will add more spice to your senses. Asus are taking the game into their own hands with their external sound card called the Xonar U3. Besides Surround Sound audio output it also provides USB connectivity. To make things a lot better it also adds an in-built headphone amplifier that can take on 150 ohm headphones and Asus’ EAX 5 software-based acceleration.
There’s no word on the price or availability of the Asus Xonar U3 external surround sound card. Gamers have some audio pleasure to look forward to and it’s not Razer this time round, for a change.
