Asus Eee Slate B121 tablet launches silently

by Gareth Mankoo

The 12-inch Eee Slate B121 tablet manages to roll in as yet another tablet to make a silent entry, from the house of Asus. It seems that the famed tablet manufacturers are spinning some secret yarn together as the 12-inch Slate seems to be quite an interesting move. It packs a multi-touch display screen that extends support to a Wacom Digitizer Pen. The rest of the features tell of Windows 7 Professional, service security to match business critical standards, remote locking and data wipe, location of lost device and other top security provisions, Intel Core i5-470UM, 4GB RAM, 64GB SSD storage space, a 2-megapixel forward facing camera, USB, microSD expansion and mini HDMI.

All this seems perfect for a tablet that professional would be drawn to. But then, there is that evil looking $1,499 price tag to scare them off.
