Apple withdraws Christian App since it rebukes gay marriages

by Gareth Mankoo

If you think that gay marriages are the least of Apple’s concerns then you’re pretty much mistaken about the reach of the brand and its products. For instance, the company had to get rid of a Christian App that prohibited same sex marriages. It took just 8000 signatures on a petition to convince the gizmo Gods that the App was hurting sentiments for real. It’s not often that we see an App with 4+ rating being pulled off the App Store.

Besides gay marriages the App also came down heavily on abortion and labeled the deed as ‘cheapening of life’.
