Apple planning for hydrophobic iPhones

Owned an iPhone? Dropped water on it or dropped it in water and now it’s history? Well, it isn’t just iPhones that deserve special care in moist surroundings but every gizmo on earth that’s not water proof. But fortunately for iPhones, their maker, Apple, is thinking about their wellbeing just like any mother would for her child. Have a bite at this cool water exposure detectors technology that adds a new twist to the tale of the iPhones adventures. This will either be available as a software with an indicative sound or as a separate gizmo altogether.

A complicated little diagram with callouts attempts to explain the concept to us. It’s all physics and technology in one glassy capsule that I still am saving up to buy. Better safe than never.
