ANT gives Superyacht a taste of Apples

Superyacht has been given something worth bragging about, thanks to ANT (Advanced New Technologies Ltd.) They are working on achieving a control system that is designed around the iPod and the iPhone. Now the very brilliant of the guys at ANT to stretch the capabilities of the iPod and the iPhone, by adding bi-directional controls gives enough scope for a whole league of promising features and applications that can come along. Superyacht owners and operators can benefit from this since it will allow direct integration with these Apple devices, without needing a third party tool. Users will be able to download iPhone applications that will set themselves up automatically on onboard systems.

This is achieved by programming the inner code of control systems such as Crestron or AMX directly into the iPhone or the iPod. More on this expected soon.
