Android 4.0 update announced for HTC Sensation and Sensation XE in Germany

There were reports earlier which suggest that European owners of the HTC Sensation and Sensation XE would up for a treat when the smartphone maker rolls out the Android 4.0 update. The ICS update along with HTC’s Sense 3.6 interface overlay has finally landed for German users. The Sensation device represents some of the first existing to receive the update whereas for the rest, they are not expected to be updated until later in the year. for now, the German release is said to be limited to unlocked devices although carriers are expected to follow suit soon.
