Android 4.0 may find its way into Nook Color. Courtesy, hackers
by Gareth MankooI sense an exhilarating whirr as I share this news of shocking proportions with you. Well, the news of the Kindle Fire running Android is almost ancient fact now. It’s time for developers to come up with an even more lethal hack. And this time it’s the Nook Color that stands a chance to have the awesomeness of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phone. The 7-inch Nook color reader by Barnes and Noble recently took a price drop, since the Nook tablet made its grand entry. That comes to rest I think once the new addition in made.
Word is that the whole initiative is in the works anyway. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and overclocking capabilities are kicking it but video, audio and graphics acceleration needs work. The Nook Color costs $149.
