Alienware Area 51M with Windows XP Media center OS
by Dhiram ShahAlienware has begun offering its Area-51m notebook series with Microsoft’s Windows Media Center operating system and Multimedia components such as TV tuner and high-end graphic and audio chips. Alienware offers its performance notebook Area-51m 7700 with optional components to work in conjunction with MCE. Base models of the device are priced at about $2000, equipped with the OS, a mini PCI TV tuner, dual harddrives and appropriate graphics served by a GeForce Go 6800 Ultra chip, the entry level price climbs to at least $2700.
