Advanced voice recognition technology being developed at Apple’s North Carolina facility
by Gavril Mankoo
The world can now finally put to rest absurd claims of the true purpose of Apple’s facility in North Carolina. We’re pretty sure Steve Jobs wouldn’t hide aliens in there at least, not when NASA’s got room in Area 51. The North Carolina facility however might just bring out a bunch of advanced voice controls for the iPhone and the iPad in the near future. A few think this facility to have been set up specifically for the iTunes department, though, we’re guessing it to be developed for the betterment of the iOS 5, expected to carry voice recognition.
Well, skeptics sure think that a facility as large wouldn’t be required to experiment on voice recognition technology. At least it makes a hell lot of more sense than to think Apple to be a sort of secretively mystical organization.
