Acer’s Liquid Metal smartphone finally out, will run Froyo and comes with quite a few goddies
by Shayne Rana
Acer’s Liquid Metal Android smartphone is finally an official entity in the mobile world. This handset’s going to ship with Froyo and feature a Qualcomm 800 MHz processor, 3.6-inch touchscreen display, Wi-Fi with DLNA support and come equipped with a 5 megapixel snapper that can record video in 720p resolution. Of course it’s a 3G handset that can support 14 Mbps HSDPA networks, which is quite impressive. Acer is going with their Breeze UI. A little cherry on top is Dolby audio enhancement. The Liquid Metal will be available in brown which is going to start shipping on November in the UK and there’s also a silver version that will follow in December. It’s priced at about $367 (£299).
