64 GB iPod Touch could cost just $399!

Giving a good look at the Apple scene for the last two years, we can well expect this to be the Armageddon of Microsoft’s PMP market. All thanks to the dropping prices of Apple’s iPod Touch line, we may soon be seeing a 64 GB version that may cost just $399. If this figure surprises you then breathe easy, a couple of years ago we could well expect the same damn thing to cost twice the price. Apple have been kind enough to think about the economic slide down and play along with it. No wonder they have such a mighty user base.

According to John Gruber of Daring Fireball, it is evident that the plunging price tags of iPod devices will tighten the noose on the neck of Microsoft. The Zune HD is still in its infancy and is already looked on as a savior.
