ZZZ Checker to monitor your sleep without a wristband

zzz_checker.jpg Over the past few days, a lot of sleep analysis gadgets such as SleepTracker or Zeo Sleep Coach have made their debut in the market. These gargets require you to wear a headband or a wristband to transfer your sleep data to a small receiver, which is then transferred to the computer for analysis. The bands can certainly cause a lot of discomfort and result in a sleepless night sometimes. Understanding this need, the ZZZ Checker has evolved, which doesn’t require you to wear any sort of band. It uses audio and visual sensors instead to record when you are tossing and turning in bed or when you are snoring away to glory.

The ZZZ Checker determines the sleep level and also shows how many hours you have spent in each level. The data can be read off the screen or transferred to PC via USB to get a detailed day-to-day graph using the bundled software. This gadget is not very cheap though, it is priced at $248 plus shipping and is only available in Japan for now.
