Zap ‘em pickpockets with electric clothing

Power-packed-jeans.jpgIt’s not something new as far as a concept is concerned. We’ve seen it happen in teen flicks where actresses have been wearing some anti-sex underwear to avoid being ‘touched’. Also, we’ve seen a solar powered bra. This time it boils into an idea that’s quite practical, especially in a place like Uttar Pradesh in India, where it is produced. The area’s known for pickpockets and thieves. Maybe that’s what inspired Shyam Chaurasia who hails from there to come out with anti-pickpocket jeans! He made use of some simple copper wires that are concealed in the stitching of the back pockets. All you need to do is to get it shocking thieves is to flick the switch on.

Well, in a place like India where every thing from streets to local trains are pretty crowded, a zapping device in someone’s pocket may well send shockwaves through the innocent masses. It’s just a thought.
