Well, it is not only water but the 'Z Plasma' cutting machine uses water along with alcohol to create a 8000 degree which cuts through steel like butter. Unlike traditional metal cutters this one does not require a gas tank, compressor, or cooling equipment in fact it is very light weight and is easy on the environment too as it does not emit harmful gases. The only by-product from the saber is just water vapor. The Z Plasma saber will be later available from Reitec Japan.
