Your days are numbered Apple iPod

ipodclassic-rip.jpg The Apple iPod Classic is a device that is credited widely for reviving the company from ashes. But it seems it might just not reach to celebrate its 10th birthday on 2011. When it was launched in 2001, it was the only device that could store such large amounts of data and also at reasonable cost. But the recent advances in flash memory and SSD technology have made those two storage options the industry standard for everything from netbooks to iPhones. The industry’s current decision for small form HDD products and Apple’s apparent design trajectory for its mobile PMPs and handset devices suggest that it is time to say bye bye for the iPod classic and make way for the newer generation.
