TakaraTomy has recreated the Japanese Navy's largest and most powerful battleship the Yamato. Built to a 1/700th scale it floated gracefully on a giant diorama which depicted a wartime port at the Tokyo Toy Forum. The huge guns and the deck is recreated using the latest historical research of the sunk ship. Controlled by an infrared remote control (pictured after the jump) the Yamato will be available as a semi finished product by TakaraTomy later this year for 20,00,000 Yen ($ 22000).
