Yamaha releases 2009 model home theater systems
Yamaha announced the availability of four new home theater systems, including the flagship 7.1-channel YHT-791BL. It includes a 90W-per-channel HTR-6250BL receiver. The receiver has four 1080p-compatible HDMI inputs, HD Audio internal decoding and Bluetooth compatibility. The 5.1-channel Yamaha YHT-591BL is powered by the company's HTR-6240BL AV receiver with a 105W-per-channel amplifier. Each of the three front and center speakers includes four 2.25-inch woofer and a 0.75-inch tweeter in each of them. The two rear satellite speakers have two 2.25-inch woofers each and a 0.75-inch tweeter.
The YHT-491BL has a HTR-6230BL receiver that supplies 100W to each of the five speakers as well as the 8-inch subwoofer. Last and technically the least, Yamaha's YHT-391BL system uses the same receiver as above, though pairs them with two-way satellite speakers, each packing a 2.5-inch woofer and 0.5-inch tweeter, with the center channel adding an extra 2.5-inch driver. All the new four systems are now available. The cost of YHT-791BL, YHT-591BL, YHT-491BL & YHT-391BL are $850, $650, $550 and $400 respectively.
