Yamaha Japan is out with the NX-A01 cube shaped active speaker for your DAP. Clad in black with a shiny finish the speaker has a 3 cm titanium diaphram. The built in digital amplifier delivers an output of 4W×2ch. Unfortunately the speaker is not portable and is powered by an AC adapter. Volume controls along with a cool LED indicating the power status is located on the top of the speaker. The unit has a 3.5 mm stereo mini plug for connecting audio devices.

Yamaha NX-A01 speaker will be available in white and black, it goes in sale in Japan by mid April for 12,000 Yen ($ 100).
