Yamaha have a 1 mm speaker that’s as thin as cloth at CEATEC
I wonder how good it gets from here. We first see a speaker that can match the thinness and flexibility of paper and now we’re treated to an offering that gives advertisers the joy of getting their banners to be vocal. And hey, it’s just 1 mm thin! It was displayed by Yamaha at CEATEC and surely makes a lot people do a double-take as they wonder what’s speaking to them. It’s only when you stand before this thing that you realize what the actual source of sound is.
The best part of this short range sound is that it doesn’t cause overlapping of sound from multiple sources. Hence we have a perfect advertorial.
